Sorry for the Delay! My custom USA Kilts tweed jacket
Sorry for not getting this up sooner. I ordered a customized tweed kilt jacket an vest from USA Kilts, when it arrived it was a bit loose, and as a result, hung lower in the front. Not a problem... hop, skip, and jump down the road to my seamstress, and 1 week later, BAM! one great kilt jacket and vest... Now note, the "Wallace" style kilt jackets (3 button fronts) do in fact hang maybe an inch lower and more towards the sporran than your standard 2 and 1 button front jackets... so it may take you aback at first.... But it will grow on you, and honestly its a great jacket and vest once it got is sized to my waist....I have an odd torso it turns out. lol
But I'm very happy with this purchase, and as always, the crew at USA Kilts is more than happy to explain why this looks like this, or what you need to do to this for a proper fit.... very informed crew indeed.... and of course.... I'll be buying from there again
As you can see in the photo of the German Heritage tartan.... the jacket was a little big on me before I took it in for slight alterations. All that worrying on my part for practically nothing. lol Sorry about all the fuss Rocky.
BTW... this is my 555th post!

Hey, I'm not tech savvy, and I accidentally added a pic of my Barb T kilt..... how do I remove that? And I have no Idea how I made all that into an attached thumbnail.....

Looks great. Rocky has a well-deserved good rep among those in the know.

Looks great. I like the higher closure of the 3 button as well as the simple cuff and no epaulettes. It reminds me of the vintage images of the late 1800s. I love that period of highland dress!!
