So hey Rocky n' Kelly! Say there's this tartan I want, but USAK isn't carrying it right now... what if I was able to get my paws on a length of it and had it mailed off to you? Once you finish with the twelve-hour days, could you make it into a kilt for me? Oh, yeah - and do you know of any good sources in the U.S. that would sell a poor lad like me a mere 6-8 yards of fabric? (I suppose that I should say that I'm longing for the Pride Of Scotland tartan, which is available through Stillwater, but not in the form that I want, i.e., pleated to the sett) Yours truly, bubbling over with harebrained ideas, Steve
http://www.thescottishweaver.com/ is a good place to start. I know there is a lot more out there but I can't remember the sites at the moment. Mike
The Scottish Weaver site seems to be down
Duh. What was I thinking about? Check a couple of sponsers for this site, Kilt Store and Scottish Tartans Museum and Gift Shop. Mike

Try him like Mike suggested. Pride of Scotland (to my knowledge) is only available in wool. If it's available in other materials and you find out where, LET ME KNOW!
