Team Tartans Poll
Creating the "Broad Street Bullies" tartan for the guys in the shop got me thinking and leads me to create this poll: IF there was a universal tartan you could buy which would have the main color of your favorite sports team (green for Phila Eagles, Blue for Toronto Maple Leafs, red for Boston Red Sox, etc), AND the price point was our Casual Kilt ($100 - $140 or so), would you buy one?
If your answer is "No" or "other", please explain. I'm interested in getting feedback.

I probably would not. I follow the NFL and Green Bay, but I'm not a fanatic. I don't buy team apparel, or souvenirs.

I voted no, but then I don't follow any sporting team. I wear a tartan kilt only in the traditional manner and in only my clan colours or a district to which I have an affinity. If I followed a team at all I would probably just get the T shirt.

I voted other, and I agree with ChromeScholar on all accounts by a strange coincidence.

Plus one.
Pretty much the same reasons that Simon mentioned.

I have far too many kilts on my want list already with more traditional and ancestral meanings to ever think of getting something not, really.

I "aye'd" Grizzly with the added information...
I am a Celtic FC supporter and a Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

I think it's possible...I do follow the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida State Seminoles, both of which have colors I'd love to see in a kilt (Actually, I learned here last year the the Cowboys have a tartan). I already have a lot of shirts and jackets and whatnot for both teams. So I might. Probably should have voted maybe but I think I hit other instead. I live kind of far away from bith my favorite teams so I rarely get to see them play live but I would love to go to a game in a team kilt. That's exactly the situation I would want to wear a kilt but not want to wear my handmade, wool Buchanan. I spill. I'm sure beer and nacho cheese is bad for wool.

Yes, Rocky - Navy Blue and Orange. Wahoowa! University of Virginia
Quite a few colleges and various sport teams have the same. Just make the tartan generic to go with those with the same colors.

I am Nevada Wolf Pack fan, right now I wear "Ramsey Blue" to games. I would love to see a University of Nevada tartan. I really don't care to much for the Nevada State tartan.
