Texas Tartan in PV!
We now offer the Texas Bluebonnet tartan in PV material. It's not on our site yet (and probably won't be for a couple weeks), but the material arrived today and looks great!

Jeez, I thought I was DONE buying kilts...YIKES!!
A semi-trad in Texas Bluebonnet...hmmm.
I was CONCEIVED in Fort Worth....lived in Waco and San Antonio as a wee lad...mama went to UT Austin...daughter lived in College Station...I've certainly traveled the state and been trapped in the parking lot Dallas calls a freeway...
Time to check the checkbook balance....
You gonna post a pic of the PV tartan here Rocky??

Okay, hooked me good. Ordered up a semi-trad.
Rocky indicated it "might" be a limited run...so if you're interested make your move before the rest of Texas does.

More than likely will be a limited run. I went in on the material with a shop in Texas (to keep both of our costs down) and we'll see how it moves, but it will probably be just the 1 run.

Does this fabric have the fringed or tuck selvedge?

Tuck Selvedge. EVERY time we order fabric as a special weave, we insist it's done with a kilting selvedge.

Sigh, and just after I'd said I wasn't really willing to pay the price of a full-on wool kilt in this tartan, you have to go and get one in a price range I'd consider it. I've been on your site every day for the past week deciding which tartan to get a casual in, and you had to throw another in the mix!
Since it's not on your website yet, and probably won't be until that period of time where the front page says the shop will be down... how would one go about ordering one? By giving you a call?

I'd sure like to see a picture of the fabric first.
For those interested in a future kilt from this material but who don't have the funds to jump on it immediately, is there any way you'd consider an option where people can pay to reserve enough material for said future kilt?

Leathern... you can either place an order for a different tartan and follow up with an email asking me to change the tartan to Texas Bluebonnet OR you can call it in.
Tobus... unfortunately, it's first come, first served. I have 65 M, which is enough for roughly 25 - 30 Casual and Semi Traditional kilts, so we'll probably have it for a few months at least.
