Is it wrong that I kind of really like that bright red jacket and vest?

The red Regulation Doublet we have in the shop is a bit over the top to some, but "on the nose" for others. We brought it in to help "expand customer's minds" on what they can wear with their kilt. Among the wall of black PC's and Argylls, it definitely stands out. I'm HAPPY to say that we do get a good # of comments about it from customers in the shop and we've even sold a few b/c of it!

That's 1-(800)-DOT-TOED. That's 1-(800)-DOT-TO-ED, If you missed that number, its 1-(800)-3-NUT-NED. (Read in my best Radio-Announcer voice.)
I thought the third one was funniest. Check it out at phonespell.org

Rocky, I was just thinking that it is too bad you could not get the 800 number (or 866- or whatever) ending with 872-5458. I believe that would have been perfect.

I thought about a vanity # (like 800 USA kilt). Here's the issues as I saw them:

    1. Having 800 was more important than 866 or 855 or 844. Even though 866 have been around for several years, it's still doesn't sound quite right in my opinion. 1 800 872 5458 was already taken.

    2. People don't always have the letters on their phone (that correspond to the #'s). PLUS I hate having to spell out the word on my phone by hunting for one letter after the next. Yes, you CAN put the 'translation' next to the number like this: (800) USA Kilt (872 5458), but then it kind of defeats the purpose, plus it takes up much more real estate in phone # fields (and places like our FB page, G+ page, etc don't allow you to put both).

    3. I literally looked through HUNDREDS of numbers. I settled on this one (800.368.8633) b/c it was palindrome-esque.

The realization I came to after spending over 45 minutes staring at potential phone #'s... it won't REALLY matter b/c the phone # doesn't have to be memorized (we're not a commercial with a 15 second or 30 second air time) and it's written right in front of the person while they dial. Would it have been neat to have 1.800.USA.Kilt? Sure. But it wasn't in the cards and I'm OK with it. :-)

I LOVE it, I checked already and it's a little small for me or else I would be really tempted. I definitely plan to have something like that Maybe next year.

Honestly I cannot wait until I go silver and older, I would so be a kilted Santa in a heartbeat.
