Word of mouth opportunity
A poster at another forum having to do with parrots asked me where I went for my kilt. I posted a link to USA Kilts.

Let me get this straight. Somebody wants a kilt for their parrot!? "Awk! Step lively matey, Cap'n Flint wants a kilt."
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I would assume that the parrot would wear the Norwegian Blue tartan then?

Rocky, do you have "pollywannacracker" tartan in PV or is it available only in wool?

I carry business cards from USAK, Freedom Kilts and Stillwater kilts because I am often asked where I get my kilts. To my knowledge, only one person has followed up and gotten his own kilt. I think a personal recommendation goes a long way when someone is ready to make the jump into owning and wearing a kilt.

It certainly does. People just want tone reassured many times. When you give them that card it's comforting.
With all the Highland Games, etc. to distribute cards, I'd love to see referral code discounts in the future. I'm not sure if this could be done without having to compensate price-wise elsewhere, but it'd keep me hooked just a little more. Keep me from browsing eBay or other sites as much.

Hey... maybe his parrot could meet our shop parrot!

The above is one of Kelly and my 2 parrots. This is George, our blue and gold macaw.

I give out business cards from my sources fairly regularly. I don't really need any compensation, I'm just trying to keep newbie kilties out of the hands of the schlock merchants.
