I just wanted to say a major well done to my Fiancée, Fiona.
She ran the Marathon des Alpes Maritimes from Nice to Cannes under torrential rain on Sunday, despite having the flu and a blocked back, and she made it to the finish line!
Then she flew back to Paris on Monday and got suited and booted to do sterling service as the standard bearer for the Paris section of the RBL in the Armistice day ceremony at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, where she showed them all how it should be done.
Massive congratulations, Fiona. Well done, my girl, I'm proud of you!
