Celebrating 50 trips around the sun!

Despite my best efforts in my youth I have somehow achieved the milestone (or is it millstone?) of a 50th birthday!

Lucky for me, it gave me a good excuse to buy a new kilt from Rocky, and an excuse to throw a party with performances by not one, but two of my favorite Celtic bands later this month.

It feels good to get older without growing up!

Happy Birthday and congratulations! Millstone? Not at all. You're still a relative whippersnapper. May the Good Lord grace you with many more years of fruitful life and happiness. I can't think of a better way to mark your semicentennial than to acquire a new kilt, especially from Rocky. I hope that in the near future we'll get to see pictures of you in it. Slainte!
