    Cornwall's Saints Day

Today, March 5th, is the day that Cornwall and those who know it celebrate the Feast of St Piran.

So today I am wearing my Cornwall National kilt to celebrate and hope all those who can are wearing a Cornish tartan.

You can also celebrate by enjoying Cornish Ice Cream or Cornish clotted cream!

Happy St Piran's Day to all!

My Ma was born in Bodmin, so I guess I could qualify for Cornish nationality(!). Happy St Piran's Day indeed. Didn't he go sailing on a mill stone or summat?

There is certainly a legend of him floating across to Cornwall on one from Ireland.

    Happy St Piran's Day
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
