Whereas Highlandtide several years ago had a vision of creating this forum, and has nurtured it into what is is today, and
whereas the Moderators (past and current) have kept it well-moderated, and
whereas new members join every day, and
whereas information, ideas, pictures and bad jokes are shared in a (usually) pleasant manner, and
whereas the Wizard of BC has recently acquired the rights to XMarkstheScot.com,
therefore be it resolved that on Friday, 25 September, 2009, at 6 PM local time, all members are heartily encouraged to raise a glass of their favorite beverage in toast of Highlandtide, the Wizard of BC, the Moderators, and to who and what this forum has been, is and shall be.
Favorite beverage shall be defined as up to and including, but not limited to:

• any alcoholic beverage (e.g. gin and tonic),

• any non-alcoholic beverage (e.g. mountain spring water, carbonated drinks),

• any hot beverage (i.e. coffee, tea, cocoa),

• any cold beverage not listed above.

We, the undersigned, do hereby endorse this resolution and pledge, to the best of our abilities, to join in said toast at the aforementioned date and time.
