Fair Warning! St. Davy's Day!
Just a reminder...St. David's Day is March 1st!
No excuses this year! I want to see all of you wearing a kilt, carrying a daffodil and having a leek....
...maybe I ought to re-phrase that last bit...
Anyway....kilt holiday for the Welsh and I expect to see the rest of you kilted in Celtic Solidarity on March First! I know that I've slipped up and missed it a couple of times so I'm reminding all of you!
Best

My bad! I guess I coulda Googled it before I spoke up. But just the same, I'll be kilted for it, for at least the end of the day. No loose fitting or skirted garments allowed in a machine shop.

Great! Another great reason for kilting up. But then, while we're at it, let's not forget St. Piran Day--the Cornish Patron Saint of Tin Miners--on March 5

In the Royal Welch Fusiliers, the tradition was that any "foreign" officers were to consume a leek whilst standing with one foot on the mess table, with the whole spectacle being observed by the regimental goat...

I will of course be celebrating Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant!
I don't know anyone in Wales who calls him "St Davy" though.
