First Day . . .
Today is my first official day in my new parish. (A lot of Scottish names carved in stone in the churchyard!) The parish is few in numbers and needs a lot of rebuilding, but those who are there are brave, committed, decent, and willing to work. I like them already! Any prayers, positive thoughts, or kindly hopes gladly accepted!
Rev'd Father Bill White: Mostly retired Parish Priest & former Elementary Headmaster. Lover of God, dogs, most people, joy, tradition, humour & clarity. Legion Padre, theologian, teacher, philosopher, linguist, encourager of hearts & souls & a firm believer in dignity, decency, & duty. A proud Canadian Sinclair with solid Welsh and other heritage.

Preach the Word, administer the sacraments, and keep the money in order, and you should be alright.

Bill,
May the Good Lord bless you, your church, and all the members of your new parish. And may God grant His grace to guide your ministry and all of your rebuilding efforts. Amen.
