Well, unfortunately I am nowhere near the Wizard, being in the lovely town of Powell River (Riverkilt, are you reading this?). So, the Wizard is off the hook!

You mean you left your brand-new kitchen unattended?
Happy Birthday, KK!

Yes, it was very sad. Steve does not caress the kitchen countertop, polish the sink and lovingly stacked the dishwasher (my first since 1982!). On the other hand, he has promised me that he is drawing up the plans for the upper cabinets (we only have lowers with no doors right now), so I think the kitchen can stand being non-adored for a week.

Thank you, everyone.
32 is a great age.....I (vaguely) remember it.
The other day I walked into an ice cream shop (one of my vices -- the ice cream, not the shop) and asked if I could have a senior cup....they did not even bat an eye. I then went on to protest that I was actually a few years' shy of the senior category, as they defined it. (They still gave it to me, and I stopped complaining.) Sigh........there are pros and cons of the progression of the years.
