Today is the birthday of the late James Doohan, "Scotty" in Star Trek TOS. He would have been 92 today.

Thanks for the memories, Scotty. As one who grew up with, and was richly influenced by, ST-TOS, I salute you, and will hoist a dram of my finest single malt in your honor this evening.
