Happy New Year - End Of Year Babies

Happy New Year to all.

The 2015 has finished with a blessed bang for my family.

I am proud to announce a new grandson born yesterday morning in Tennessee. The young man arrived 18 days early and quite by surprise.

Although he is a tad small at 3lbs 15oz, he is in fine shape and Mommy and Daddy are doing fine a well. The little guy should be release from NICU in a few days.

This young blessing is in addition to another granddaughter born in October.
I had the pleasure of meeting her in October when I went to Edinburgh to visit her and my daughter and son-in-law.

My Scottish children are coming for a visit in February. I so look forward to having all of my grandchildren in one place.

Being a grandparent is such a great way to get even

Well I can say the lad made a bang with the recent tornados and Holidays as a precursor. Does changing diapers count as a New Year's resolution? Best wishes to all and a toast to health and happiness to you and yours.

Congrats on the new grandchild. You seem to be taking it well. Don't worry about the early arrival; they are simply eager to get on with it. My son (now 27) jumped the gun by a full ten weeks and now towers above me, has graduated college and is an interesting, good human being. I like your thought about being a grandparent--sounds like the payoff is worth the work.
