Happy St. Andrews Day!
HAPPY ST ANDREWS DAY!

What are you doing, today to celebrate Scotland's Patron Saint?
I'm kilted in my Malcolm modern tartan. I have the Saltire on my office desk. So, when asked the question what's the occassion for wearing kilt and I can tell them about St. Andrew. After work, I'll be going to the Fredericksburg Pub to join their celebration of St. Andrew's Day. Not quite a St. Patrick's Day, but a great one to celebrate kilted.

I'm kilted at work today - for the first time. I don't know of any local celebrations or anything, though, so that's pretty much it.

St. Andrew & Our Right!
A miracle of truth divine,
A martyr's cross, a hallowed shrine...
The martyr's lips at Patras stilled,
The Scottish heart with triumphed filled.

Happy St. Andrew's Day Ern!
I'm doing uni work today but I spent my weekend in Dumfries kilted
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

I'm not really celebrating today, but tonight I'll probably lift a wee dram to Peter's brother. int:

I wore my MacArthur Modern kilt to work today. I spent the morning baking Scottish Honey Loaf to bring in to work this afternoon. The people in my office don't care what you wear as long as you bring baked goods! I'm planning on celebrating St. Andrew with a dram after work. I will also be celebrating the 135th anniversary of the birth of Sir Winston Churchill tonight too with a second dram!
Happy St Andrews day to all!
