I'm employed!

After 5 years, 4 months and three days I FINALLY have a full-time, permanent position! It's not my ideal job (in fact, I'm WAYY over-qualified) but it'll be a steady income.

I've worked a couple of short-term positions and have several odd jobs to earn some spending money, but I FINALLY have a position that I know won't be ending in a short period of time.

Unfortunately, it's a second shift job (1630-0100 hours), so my Scout unit will have to do without me (I'm sure they'll be just fine) until I can get onto first shift or find a better position.

Congrats! What a relief...

Several years ago I went through a divorce followed by chronic underemployment. The latter was much more demoralizing!
