Second Anniversary on Xmarks
Well dear forum friends, I survived two years on Xmarks! My first ever (and only) online forum. I want to thank you for a second fine year. I enjoy the discussions lots, and really appreciated the shared experience among the wearers of the kilt. I've learned what THCD means! I've also appreciated the care so many members give to their "turn out". I've learned lots about what "look" works and what doesn't. I am happy to report that I am, for the most part, free from the drudgery of matchy matchy and into what "tones" well with the kilt's "palette". I continue to appreciate the quick wit of this forum, it's ability to converse across not only oceans but cultures, and it's commitment to what is gentlemanly (despite the occasional tiff and spat). I don't post often. I visit lots without signing in and when I have time, I do sign in if only to add what I hope is a good word here and there.
My appreciation to you all.
David
Edited to say, I can't believe that I misread the calendar! I'm so into celebrating and "surviving" that I'm a month and a half early! I just have to celebrate again in December! Best to you all!
