What are you doing for Hogmanay? Pictures?
I'll be kilted up for the regular morning church service (well with robes over-top for worship itself) and for the short reception afterwards. We're celebrating the Feast of the Epiphany (transferred). Did any of the Wise Men wear kilts?????? Maybe I'm just not as wise as they!
In the evening, we're hosting the same two families with whom we've shared the evening for the last 40 years or so.
Pictures here, anybody?

I'm the kilted one on the left, with my mom, my sister, my sister's husband, and kids and my dad on the right end. It seemed like we too a couple dozen picture between aiming the camera, adjusting the flash, cutting my B-in-Laws head off, and people with goofy looks.
Hopefully the picture shows right.

I didn't kilt it up today for Church, I wore my Suit instead. I got to Church and was asked why I didn't wear my Kilt. I said it was a Wee bit too cold even for me, even though I am used to the -50 plus Temperatures North of Fort McMurray. Tomorrow New Year Day, I am spending it in Cambridge with My Sister and Family. I plan on wearing the Kilt then. I may even wear the Prince Charlie, and get some photos taken with my Sister, She bought a Ladies Kilted Skirt a couple of months ago in the Canadian Maple Leaf Tartan. I got her a Lochcarron Lambs Wool Scarf in the same Tartan for Christmas,
A Very Happy New Year is wished for you Father Bill, may you and your Family have a Blessed, Prosperous 2018.

Is this the picture that didn't appear?
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

When I got home from Church Yesterday, I decided to kilt it up, in the process found my "Wee Alexander"
and took a Selfie for our New Years Greeting to my Facebook Family and Friends... You don't want to know how many times I had to reset the Camera to get this pose.

Well spotted, halo and a fairy/Angel, for those moments when a halo just doesn't cut it .

While we didn't specifically celebrate Hogmanay, I did kilt up for a New Year's Eve dinner and celebration with friends.
