Braggot Recipes?
Good day, all. I've been making mead for about ten years now and I've mainly stuck to pymants and cysers. A freind (and kiltmaker) decided that he wants to try his hand at it but has gotten it stuck in his head that a braggot is the way to go. Not ever trying one I had no information or guidence for him. After a few searches on line, the amount of information was daunting and impossable to decipher the good from the not-so-good. So I decided to trust the rabble and ask if anyone has any expirience with braggots and maybe a recipe or two.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Cheers!

Have you run across the meadmakers digest, they must have something in there on it! You probably already know more than is in the few good books on the marker. Sorry not more help.
I do have a question for ya. My last cyser, though good, was disappointing to me. I used pure cider with only about 1g of water. I don't remember the yeast strain, but I am sure it was one of the sweeter lalvins. I didn't get near the apple flavors I was hoping for. My thou gts is the the subtle esters in the apple were wiped out by the yeast! Little help!!!!
Any good sources on honey these days?
Thanks
Scott
