Post The Buckner Mint Julep Ceremony

Given that we are almost to Derby Day, I thought I would post the ceremony for making a proper Mint Julep from General Simon Bolivar Buckner Jr.

    http://www.thebucknerhome.com/julep/index.html

The recipe itself is a delight a to read:

Being overcome with thirst, I can write no further. (with apologies to General Buckner)

Great read. I'm informed they serve the premixed swill masquerading as a Mint Julip at the Derby itself.

    Best regards,
