    Edradour scotch

Can anyone get this anymore? I went to the local liquor store, which has always had it, and found it gone! And the dealer said it wasn't on teh Oregon list anymore!

has it went off the American market?

    If so...tragedy!!

From their website (Nice website too by the way)

"Edradour is currently exported to France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Russia, USA, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and New Zealand. Details of distributors in export markets will be added to this page during 2009.

For more information on stockists and distributors, contact Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Company Limited, Edradour Distllery, Pitlochry PH16 5JP, Scotland. telephone (0)1796 472 095 Fax (0)1796 472 002. "

Drop 'em a line or give 'em a ring. I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Edradour is readily available to me here in Kentucky--at least the bottle that is in my scotch cabinet is well within reach. Have to check my local sources to see if it is still in the stores, and get back to you.

    Former Oregonian here...

OLCC (Oregon Liquor Control Commission) always looks at the bottom line. If it's not a big seller in its category they might drop it for a while to see if the demand picks up -- or it may have been pushed out by the latest iteration of "What Kind of Cask Haven't We Put Our Whisky In Yet?" that seems to infect certain distillers.

Line up a source of supply from out of state. Hmmm. I get to Salem every couple of months. I can bring two jugs across with no duty. I will look to see if I can find it here in BC, and we might work a trade.

They did that to me with George Dickel bourbon last year, too. Gotta have my Dickel. ("Get Pickled With Dickel" was their unofficial slogan...)

Remind me next week that I was gonna check on that, willya?

Tasty stuff, indeed. A a lovely walk through the woods may be had on the way to the distillery. One of my favorite places....

Never had Edradour, but I did have some Edradour fudge when I was in Glasgow I'll definitely try the scotch when I have the opportunity, though.
