That's expensive!
A son of one my cousins is working in Whitehorse. He'll be unhappy if he can't get his whisky!

That's one heck of a libation to the whisky gods.

Quick! Where did they put the mop bucket?
Tis a shame. They had so much to give, and to be struck down that way is a real tragedy.

Ok, I know I'm reading this on Halloween, but that is one sad story. I'll raise a wee dram to the lost wee drams.

Needless destruction. The instructions that come with these state that these style racks are to be attached to the wall or to the rack behind it. Ever see a customer climb one to reach the back of the top shelf?

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

I would volunteer to help dispose of the unbroken bottles. I am sure there is a technique to remove any offending solids.

Quite right, I used to have an off-licence, used that style shelving. If the uprights were firmly fixed to the wall, there would not have been a problem. The shopfitter should have been sued. Regrettably we never achieved anything like the mark up quoted in the article, it was usually 10% or less on spirits, but then we did not have a government backed monopoly.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
