    Food, glorious food

A few weeks ago at the Chicago Highland games I encountered a food vendor named "Spencer's Jolly Posh" that was selling banger and back bacon sandwiches. Maybe it was the time and place, but man that sandwich was good. They called the sandwich the "Full Monty".

They are located in Chicago, but ship anywhere in the lower 48 US states. I visited their store last week and bought some bangers, back bacon and black pudding. I hadn't had black pudding in about 13 years. It's just not commonly available in the US. It's delicious! I've fried it up with some eggs for breakfast almost every day. The bangers and bacon were awesome, too.

I was running late but called ahead and they stayed open for me. I was only there for a minute, so I didn't get the chance to look around the store. I'll be making a stop there again soon though and I'll be posting about my further adventures with pudding and bangers.

Lose the fried bread, add some tattie scones and you've got a full Scottish!

I can't believe a thread has been started about black pudding and no one's contributing! Bury market black pudding, lightly fried, served in a nice floury bap with roast pork and apple sauce!!!

Please do let us know how it goes.
Also, how do I find this place to get an order? Have had black pudding exactly once while in Europe, Germany, and was drunk, so need try it sober.

If you cannot fix it, mess it up so bad that no one else can either.
