Guinness resumes US distribution of "Foreign Extra"

    Link

Too bad I'm on the wagon for a few months, at least I'll have something "Extra" to look forward to!

I just wish they start importing the Kilkenny brand to the US (Also a St James Gate brew).

In the Province of Quebec, where beer retailers run free unlike in much of the rest of Canuckistan, Costco used to sell their usual (ie, sizable) cases of imported Guinness for very nice prices. That stopped a while ago and QC Costco effectively became the domain of one bloated beer company- and I'm still trying to figure out whether I should blame Guinness or Costco. But even if I do, which one am I gonna boycott? They are both a major source of food in my life! (When, that is, Guinness is selling for less than the price of gold )

Enjoy the good life, my US friends... I was once just like you....

I'm going to show my ignorance... what's Foreign Extra? I think I've heard that the Guinness we get in the states isn't the same as Ireland... so is this the proverbial good stuff?

Described at the link, or Google for several other reviews.
