Help on some Scottish food to sample
Dear Rabble,
I've just been tasked with helping out for International night at my daughter's school and need to make something Scottish.
Basically something than can be eaten as finger food, savory or sweet.
I've already practiced my shortbread recipe so I'm fine there. Just off to a nearby British shop to see if they have any Irn Bru.
Any and all suggestions welcome.

I love smoked salmon. A good friend has a smoker and does his own and regularly shares.

If the British shop has a can, I might do it, just because it's expected. But it's not the same, and it's not exactly finger food.

Ok not totally Scottish, more British with a Scots base.
Oatcakes, real butter, chedder cheese, Branston pickle.
Oatcakes, real butter, THIN spread of Marmite.
Oatcakes, real butter, raspberry jam.

Sorry, we buy them!
Another suggestion, Can you get Stilton Cheese?
Oatcake, real butter and stilton cheese(take the cheese out of the cooler for at least 8 hours before serving) and if it were not for school consumption, washed down with a good glass of port.
