Heritage Brewing Company's First Anniversary

Heritage Brewing Company in Manassas, Virginia held their first anniversary on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Ern Malcolm and I were there to take part in the tour and the festivities.

We had the pleasure of sampling a unique scotch ale that was aged in a rye whiskey cask for two years.









The owners and brewmasters are great fellows.

It was a fun afternoon, Mark!

I been supporting (drinking their beer) the Arroyo brothers Sean and Ryan when their Kings Mountain, Scottish American Ale hit the tap at our Capital Ale House last spring. A FB post of me drinking it there got me in contact with the fellows. Turns they were raised in NJ near a place I opened a new retirement community. These guys are veterans who turned their passion into home brewing in to craft beer business. They have come a long way in a year.

They currently are now distributing the East Coast from South Carolina to New England. Look for them if you live in that area. You won't be disappointed.
