If you've had Iron Bru. . .

Yes but never again! apart from the fact I hated the flavor, I'm highly reactive to caffine, and I'm diabetic, it having large quantities of sugar and caffine like coca cola are on the no go list.
These days It's just as likely to be made in Milton Keynes in England.
It was of course originally called Iron Brew, until legislation caused it to have a name change in 1946 to IRN BRU as it's not made from a Brewed product, come to that I'm not sure they use Girders either!

I guess I'll take that bow. I like it. I prefer to pour it into a glass, though, as it's less bubbly that way.

I love iron bru so I'm bowing too. When I was a kid my dads brother used to visit from Glasgow and he would bring me iron bru and an oor Wullie comic annual.

I didn't much care for it. I had it in the canteen of the Motor museum west of Glasgow. Don't recall what I had to eat there so it must have been unexciting.
They had a Vincent Black Lighting and I was quite disappointed they didn't have Red Molly in black leather as well.
No, no Iron Bru for me but I did develop quite a fondness for haggis.

I know of one "British" shop in the North Texas area (maybe there are others) that carries Irn Bru. I liked it. Maybe I'll make a run over there this weekend to try it again just to make sure.
