Did'nt know about this film coming out, looks good and could be quite a hit, I recognise a few familiar faces from the trailer.I look forward to seeing it as most of the work by Ken Loach is enjoyable
Before I finish, recently I was touring the Auchentoshan distillery in Clydebank and the guide mentioned the 'Angel's Share' and told us that a visitor asked where the Angels Share went to after rising into the air, the guide replied that it came back down on the grass lawn outside and that was why it was half cut.
The Angel's Share has its first showing here in Hawick on 7th August.
Lots of kilts in the trailer.
Anybody seen it yet?
Is it worth going to watch?
Saw in in Edinburgh a few weeks ago and it's definitely worth watching. It's a bit like "Restless Natives" in many ways.
I heard a few comments about the bad language, but we were watching it in Morningside. It may not have been the politest of language but it sounded natural, not just swearing for effect. The characters are dead on.

Reason: I'm an idiot
Just back from a week in London. I saw the Angel's Share in a small theater in Leichester Square. It was a fun film to watch. However, the thick Scottish accents of the actors made it somewhat difficult to understand.
