    My new flask wrap!

Here are some pictures of the beautiful flash wrap Chris at SkyRavenWolf made for me.

Here is a picture with my sporran made by Chris as well.

Here is the hard part. I previously asked the members how to clean and prepare my new flask. I followed the instructions of the forum accordingly. I am now faced with the fact that I must somehow "christen" my "virgin" flask with a distilled beverage of some kind. Here are pictures of what I have currently in my liquor cabinet. To make matters more urgent, I need to pick out the "right" scotch or distilled beverage to bring with me to the Salado Highland Games this weekend. Any suggestions?

That is AWESOME! I loved your sporran when you posted about that. Now, the flask wrap is beautiful. I am truly impressed with how well they compliment. Wow. Very impressive.

I don't drink the stuff myself but I like the fact that there is a Scotch called Jura, which means to me a type of tartan.

    Beautiful work!

And I vote for the Doublewood.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
