New Homebrew on its way--Heavy Hitter!
Hey all!
Just craked the cap on my first batch of Ale w/corriander and MAN is it good! Had to get it out of the way for my next brew. It's a "Linebacker Dopple Bock" That I've named "Middle Linebocker". It's a harken back to my football days and the position I played on defense. Might change the name to "Lambert Blitz" depending on the alc. % Added a bit of creamy brown and some brown sugar for finish. I think it will be nice, malty and stout. Here's the label:

Sounds like a great pint for a cold day.
I had planned on bottling my stout yesterday, but totally forgot that I'm out of caps! And somehow my online order for caps ended up costing a whole lot more...almost as though I had bought the ingredients for another batch of homebrew.

Ugh! I got lucky with a local home brewing suplly store. They carry the bottles and EZ caps I like. Shipping for online orders was nuts!
