Has anyone tried this? Sounds delicious!

This is my hands down favorite single malt.
I do not like the peat taste and this is very smooth and flavorful without overwhelming as I taste the malts from furher north.

It is very nice with lovely honey notes in it.
It's also made only about 20 miles away from me!

I tried it once (mainly because the local Makro store had it on offer) and have to admit it was most acceptable.

Yes, nice. Reminded me a little of Armorik Single Malt de Bretagne. Sweetish and lacking complexity, but I thought it might make a good after dinner tipple.

Very light and tasty, more like Irish whiskey than Scotch whisky in general. Delightful and generally affordable, if you can find it.

That's the trick I guess. I've called the importer in California and the distributer in Arizona, and it I'm told it will be available in my area soon. I'll be looking for it in the coming months. I'll be looking for it in Texas too, when I'm there for work. Kind-of a whisky scavenger hunt of sorts...

I have a bottle myself that I found unexpectedly in a more upscale suburb of Memphis. Very light and flavorful without the peaty taste of most single malts. I completely agree it is somewhere between an Irish whisky and what you think of when you hear single malt. There is a sweetness to it (it is Madiera cask finished) but what I took away from it was the very pleasant scent and taste of what I described to a friend as a spring evening after a good rain. Slightly floral and earthy but not overpowering. Two friends of mine have tried it, one who is usually an Irish whisky drinker and the other usually a single malt drinker, and both enjoyed it. Not the best single malt I have every tasted but a very welcome addition to the cabinet both for its taste and its uniqueness.
I have read a few pages I found on the web about the distillery and if I remember this correctly, the bottles currently on the market were bottled very young with the potential of more matured bottles to come in the future. Perhaps even better things to come.

It is relatively easy to come by around here, so if you would like me to send you a bottle at cost I would be willing to make the effort, and can look into the costs for you. Just let me know.

Yes, current release bottled at 4 years old so look forward to the 8 etc!
