    Pubs in dunblane scotland

My wife and I are going to visit Dunblane Scotland in August. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a pub or two in the area. Walking distance from the Old Churches House Hotel is preferable since we will not have private transportation but a good pub is worth cab fare.

It's been a long strange ride so far and I'm not even halfway home yet.

If my memory serves me correctly, there's a pub on Kirk St. I don't recollect the name, but it should be walking distance from your hotel.

The Tappit Hen is a good one and it's located on Kirk Street, which is the same street as the Old Churches House.

It must be The Tappit Hen. Wonderful place for a pint and a wee dram. It's a Belhaven Pub, so there's loads of Belhaven on draught, which of course, is my absolute favourite.
