    Sausages

    Good day all,

Since I didn't want to derail the etiquette thread.

I looked up the sausage recipe and it looked interesting. The site - http://www.3men.com/sausage.htm also had quite a few others that could be good. I like making sausage and I was just gifted with a electric smoker that has a cold smoke feature.

One of the other recipes I came across was schinkenspeck, also looked interesting. Suppose to be a fancy bacon. Anyone have experience with it?

    Thx,
    Jim

Ach man, do I miss boerwors. There is a butcher (Uli's) in Pike Place Market, Seattle that makes it and I get one everytime I am there. He will ship around the country, but it's too expensive for now.
