It's that time of year again. About -5dF again today, I dressed for two hours exposure but ended up being out there for four hours.

Once I got in and mostly warm, I mixed up a short glass of Fox's blood, 1 part cognac with two parts port, 6 tablespoons total.

It was just enough to get my arthritic knuckles unlocked so I could type a note of thanks...

I'll keep this tipple in mind. Living in Ontario, it can get quite chilly - not as nasty as Alaska, but on occasion wind chill down to -30C. Now, can you direct me to a wee wooden cask and a St. Bernard to carry it for me.
