Suggestion for a pub in Richmond, UK

My wife was honored by her company to be an Olympic Torchbearer. Her relay run is Tuesday, July 24th. The torch relay route for that day starts in Kingston, goes through Richmond, Hayes, Denhen and ends for the day in Ealing. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/torchrelay/day67).

My wife’s relay portion is through the town of Richmond sometime in the morning. After her run, we would like to have lunch and a beer at a local pub in Richmond.

Any suggestions?

There are lots of pubs on the river, I used to go to the White Cross, you can sit outside and watch the river and swans ,ducks, boats , and people .
There are also several on the Green. but I'd usually choose the river ones.
