A question to those whose nose is more in the know than mine. I was in a local store and I saw a combo pack of wine aerator and spirits aerator. Now the spirits aerator was also a measuring jigger. My question to the rabble is would an aerator be useful for whisky in general and single malt in specific? Or would it possibly ruin the flavour of the whisky? I know that we swirl it and nose it and warm that amber nectar in the palm of our hands before savouring that uisge beathe. So has anyone seen or tried this? What say you?
