Possible snap failure
Don't know if Mr Ashton will let this be posted, but I would just like to get the word out.
I just got back from VMI Parents weekend. I wore my USA Kilts tank to the play on Friday night. Anyway, I hade made myself two sets of sporran hangers and used black snaps to fasten them with. Both sets of snaps broke, so did the black snap I used as a closure for my Nutria fur sporran. If anyone out there that has something I made with the black snaps has one of them break, please send them back and I will repair or replace the item. I hope it was just fluke.

Donnie,
Although you have chosen not to be an advertiser here many of our members have your products and love them.
Your post is true customer service. Post away.
I hope this was just a one time fluke.

Re: Possible snap failure
Thank you Mr Ashton. It is not that I have chosen not to advertise here, it is that my little one man dog and pony show can't afford a monthly payment for advertising right now. If things grow enough, I will most certainly be contacting you about an ad.
On a slightly different note. I believe that customer service has all but dissappeared in this country. I think that as companys have gotten large, they just feel that there will always be another customer, why worry about making sure your existing customer base is happy or not. This has also become a throw away society. If it doesn't last, just throw it away and get another one. What has happened to making a good, durable product? There are very few true caring craftsmen out there any more. I do believe you will find most of them right here and on the other kilted forums out there. Every member here has the power to make or break a new or existing business out there with their reviews here. Cudos to you for providing that ability to folks out there!
