Well, I must say this has been a labour of love for the past three months. Perhaps more labour than love at times, but I finally completed a hand sewn traditional 8 yd kilt in PEI provincial tartan. Pleated to the stripe. Would not have been able to do it without the encouragement at Ms Tewksbury, her fantastic book, and by sifting through a great many threads on this site. Well done to the Rabble for such a collection of information and knowledge. I documented the entire process, but I'm still sorting out the pictures. And so more to follow. In the meantime I'll post a few completed pictures here in celebration

Well done! Look forward to seeing more pictures. Some pics of it being worn would give a clearer impression of how it looks.
Very impressive, nice work. I agree it would be nice to see it being worn.
Way to go. It looks excellent! Tom

Very nice and congratulations to you for having the patience to see the project to completion.
Thanks for all the kind words. This weekend I will have the wife take some pictures of me in it. I took hundreds of pictures of the process as well which I am sorting through between work and other projects.
some day I will have to attempt that
