    Arizona tartan

The wife has begun warping the loom to weave the Arizona tartan.

It will take a while to get this woven, but it looks like it will turn out a great cloth.

Be still my heart! Just got my Arizona tartan kilt out tonight getting ready to wear it in Flagstaff this week...seems cool enough up on the mountain. You're gonna love it!

The more you wear it around Arizona the more you see how perfect Dr. Smith designed the tartan colors.

Great pictures! The only thing more beautiful than that loom all threaded up is "the wife"'s delightful expression. What a beautiful smile and sparkling eyes - an expression of happiness and anticipation, ... though I imagine in reality weaving can be tiresome and frustrating at times. Good luck, and by all means, please share the results with us.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Our cloth will be a little darker, and a larger sett.

Sure looks pretty on the loom though. Not sure who wove Craig's, know Matt had it done. Kathy had mine woven by Dalgliesh.

Here's a close up of the colors.
