    AZ tartan update

    Here's what the Arizona tartan the wife is weaving looks like now...





    Funny part is that I'm on a weight loss program lately. So far I've lost 51 pounds and 4 inches of my waist. We may have extra cloth.

    That looks fantastic. It brings to mind how many traditional garments minimize cutting, often claimed because one is reluctant to cut into all that wonderful work. Still all that aside, the finished garment should be equally fantastic. Good luck with it and proud wearing.

    She is doing enough for a kilt for me and my son, plus sashes for her, my daughter and my mother-in-law. Now with me dropping a lot of weight, we'll certainly have extra. Just don't know how much.
