    clergy (blue) ancient tartan

    Good day all,

I have been a member for a while and I do truly enjoy the forum. I am in need of help locating the clergy tartan in medium weight (13 oz). I am making a kilt for our recently ordained transitional deaconate and am having a difficult time locating this tartan in medium weight. Any ideas.

You could try checking "Clark" (same tartan) though I am pretty sure that House of Edgar has "Clergy" in medium weight.

    Best of luck!

They advertise at the top of every page. They're a forum sponsor, as a matter of fact.

Confirmed, House of Edgar has it in their Old and Rare section, it is the Clergy Muted, unique colors and very handsome I think. They also have the Clark in Modern colors which is, of course, much brighter. Although third party sellers may carry it, as Bren pointed out, you may get a much better price directly from the mill. Sometimes it's just a matter of registering with them as a kilt maker.

Edit: Sorry, did not see your specification for Ancient in the thread title. I still like that Muted a lot though!

If you cannot fix it, mess it up so bad that no one else can either.
