    Finally! 2011 Cthulhu kilt finished.

I bought some of the first run custom Dalgleish R'lyeh sett tartan back in ... was it 2011?

And the fabric languished in storage until I took another kilt class (at Blandford Imports - Elsie has retired but her protege continues) in March.

Needing it to be somewhat unique, this one is a double box pleat, to the triple purple stripes, for both the inner and outer pleat.

This is the second kilt I made, the first was a normal 8 yard knife pleat. This double box is about 6 1/2 yards.

... Sending from tablet, can't get it rotated properly, sorry! ...

Unique (mildly put) and breath taking display of fabric. Any other words from me, and I'll sound like a blubbering idiot.

Don't worry - Cthulhu has that effect on people.

Hey Calico...I can't believe you didn't tell me you finished it. Are you going to wear it to Costa Mesa?

Lovely! And I don't feel quite so bad about not making mine yet from the second run of fabric.
