Finished beautifying the barrel or finished the contents?

Kinda' both actually.... I went to test out my new, carefully crafted mini-bar top and found that there was only about 1/4" left in my Pulteney bottle.

Naaa. Modern Dacron sailcloth is great stuff, but so job-specific these days that it's not terribly good for anything else. Back when they replaced my aorta with a hunk of Dacron tubing I told the doc that I had a scrap box full or really good Dacron, Kevlar, Spectra, Technora and other cutting edge fabrics, but they wouldn't go for it. I'm the only sailmaker I know of though, who is actually part Dacron himself.

Yep, we had to "settle" for leftovers from a mini tasting party that my wife and I had for my birthday a couple months ago. Stocking up on a variety of different brands is kind of a fun way to celebrate the day when you're old enough that you don't really need any normal presents. And they all fit perfectly!

Cracking pocket flask you have there!
I did the distillery tour last year and got a few tasty samples. I live 20 miles away
My dad managed to get his hands on one of the final bottles of the original liqueur before they switched to making Stroma
