    First attempt at sporrans.

So I decided to get into leather working, just as a hobby. So I made a couple of sporrans.Photo0311.jpgPhoto0314.jpgPhoto0315.jpgPhoto0316.jpgPhoto0322.jpgPhoto0323.jpgPhoto0321.jpgPhoto0312.jpgPhoto0319.jpgPhoto0317.jpg

Photo0320.jpg Inside of the last one. I made these to be able to take a beating and be more for camping and farm use rather than fashion.

Cool deal! This gives me hope as I just (as in the last 3 weeks) got into leather working as well with the specific goal of making my own sporran. I fell into a great bit of luck in that I live near a Tandy leather store that has classes on weekends and so far have made a mess and a journal cover. Our highland games are in mid January and they said they are going to do a sporran class before then so I'm practicing as much as I can so I lessen my chance of screwing that up...Good stuff man!

Thank you all for the praise. Truly a boost to my self confidence. I'll have to keep it up then.
