Alas, I didn't take ay pics during construction. I didn't have a 100% plan, and I was more concerned about problem-solving than documentation. In retrospect, I wish I would have took pictures. So, sorry, but no, there aren't any photos of the construction phase...
I do have some self-critique to share:
1. Leather cantles are sort of a pain to work with, but they're quite functional.
2. Latigo--used for the tassels--isn't the ideal material for that application. For all it's strength, it's pretty thick.
3. The belt loop on the back of the sporran should be as high as possible. This will keep the cantles from hitting your buckle. I put the loop a tad low, so I will either have to deal with it, or do a modification to get better clearance between sporran and belt.
"Far an taine ‘n abhainn, ‘s ann as mò a fuaim." Where the stream is shallowest, it is noisiest.
