    Fox sporran

I could not resist. Take one old fox fur hat, one old sporran, a bit of rabbit pelt, and a few hours one evening.

One evenings work I am staggered! Love the fox fur, love the cantle, not sure about the white tassles but overall it's a fantastic job. Very nicely done sir.

It was an easy job. Basically a cover-up on an old sporran. My wife had a fox fur hat she had not worn in 50 years and I could put it to better use. I debated the tassels and could always replace them with the fox fur but I thought I'd try for a bit of contrast and irony. The best part was the price !! - and, of course the fun of DIY.

I take my hat off to you. It gives me an idea for converting one of my less used sporrans so for that I thank you.

I like it , looks great - do you have any in process pictures ? it would be cool to see how you did it and it would help others to see how they too could make it .
    Thank you

You did a fine job and great re-cycling project. I even think the white rabbit tassels are okay (a little fuzzy in the photo )

Great use of a neglected fur. Personally, I would have gone for black or dark brown tassels, but for a few hours work, that is fantastic.
