    gotta dig the box pleats

Inspired by the 1920's maxwell kilt on Matt Newsoms' blog I came up with
    this.

Pleat shot, the Maxell kilt is a kingasiuse pleat, mine is box pleated as I didn't have enough material.

I used buttons for an old school look.

Thanks all! It was a bit of fun to figure out how it would work from just a couple of pics. A little bothersome to put on but it is very comfy to wear.

Really nice kilt. Looks good on you, like the T-shirt you chose to wear with it.

The orig didn't have a buckle and I couldn't figure out how they tied the leather belts, so I dug around and found the Park Tool belt I picked up at Interbike a few years ago. It works as this is the kilt I wear at the bike shop most often.

    Doc,
I just had to point that out. I used to race and it was a tool I kept in my little bike bag while training. Good to see it come to good use. :0
