This is my Fifth(?) DIY kilt and definately the most challenging. It was actually finished in time for May Day but I have only recently had a friend available to take photos. As it has been so much time, I will only not mention all the unorthodoxies which I was backed into. One note however which turned out well, I put buttons on the underapron on the inside rather than taking a tab through a button hole. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

You look absolutely SMASHING!!!! A style and elegance from a bygone era. My compliments!
Well done. Beautiful tartan, too.
Looks great, and I like how well the vintage style vest goes with it. Good Job!
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
Love that tartan. And like those hose too.
The kilt looks great and the whole outfit looks very nice indeed and the sporran looks unusual, any details? Chris.
