Harris Tweed conversion and Shepherd's Plaid kilt hose
I think I've posted about both of these projects before, but I finally got a shot of them "in action" this morning. I still plan to put epaulettes and braemar cuffs on the jacket, but haven't made the time yet. Worn here with the kilt, bias-cut waistcoat (now really way too large on me, I need to make a new one) and Balmoral bonnet that I made previously.

I like the look of the bias-cut waistcoat. What is the tartan? My guess is Ancient MacKenzie, but I have been known to be wrong. Strong outfit. Well done. Plus the "what are you lookin' at?" expression.

Haha! That's me, squinting into the morning sun. The tartan is Murray of Atholl/Atholl District, ancient colorway.

Good job on the hose, the bonnet, and the jacket conversion. Well done!

Your oh so slightly rumpled waistcoat makes you look very professorial - like you spent much of the night before in tortured philosophical debate, but still haven't resolved the inner conflict to your satisfaction. Oh, by the way, love the outfit, particularly the jacket and diced hose.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Well done indeed . Very smart jacket , hose and bonnet . Like the colors of the jacket and hose with the kilt and waistcoat .
Great pic , it looks like you have just said ... " alright lads , you've heard my terms and I'll not be bartered with " .

Bonnet, jacket and walking stick make the outfit.
